Job Summary

Reports to: Vice President of Sales (solid-line / direct reporting)

Patmos Hosting is seeking a high-performing Senior Account Executive to serve as the lead and primary owner of complex enterprise sales within assigned Account Team Units (ATUs). This individual will manage the full sales cycle — from strategic prospecting and qualification through executive-level negotiation and close — with a focus on acquiring new enterprise logos in the AI infrastructure, datacenter, colocation, and managed services / cloud markets.

As the leader of the ATU, the Senior Account Executive is responsible for orchestrating cross-functional resources (including Demand Generation, Technical Account Management, Partner Management, and Customer Success) to drive coordinated, high-impact engagement with target accounts. Success in this role requires deep technical acumen, the ability to translate complex infrastructure and AI technologies into clear business outcomes, and proven executive presence to engage C-level and VP-level stakeholders as a peer while facilitating relationships between Patmos leadership and customer executives.

This is a quota-carrying role for experienced enterprise sellers who have consistently exceeded seven-figure+ annual targets at technology companies and have a track record of leading complex, matrixed account teams to win strategic deals.

Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Enterprise Sales & New Logo Acquisition

- Own the end-to-end sales process for net new enterprise opportunities, including strategic prospecting, discovery, solution design, proposal development, negotiation, and close.

- Source and close high-value, complex deals with new enterprise logos by identifying pain points and aligning Patmos' AI infrastructure, colocation, dedicated server, and managed services capabilities to measurable business outcomes (TCO reduction, performance at scale, compliance, time-to-value, etc.).

Account Team Unit (ATU) Leadership & Orchestration

- Serve as the clear leader and quarterback of the assigned Account Team Unit, coordinating resources and aligning efforts across Demand Generation, TAM, Partner Management, RevOps, and other functions.

- Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies and territory plans that leverage the full strength of the ATU and partner ecosystem.

- Facilitate internal deal strategy discussions, remove obstacles, and ensure tight alignment and accountability across the extended team.

Executive Engagement & Relationship Development

- Build and maintain peer-level relationships with senior executives (C-level, VP, Director) at target and existing accounts.

- Effectively position Patmos executives in customer conversations and facilitate strategic executive-to-executive relationships that strengthen trust and accelerate deals.

- Serve as a trusted advisor who can credibly discuss technical architecture, business models, and ROI with both technical and business stakeholders.

Technical Translation & Solution Selling

- Demonstrate strong technical acumen across datacenter infrastructure, AI/GPU compute, cloud services, colocation, and managed services — translating technical capabilities into clear business value and differentiation versus hyperscalers and traditional providers.

- Lead solution workshops, architecture discussions, and proof-of-concept engagements in partnership with technical resources.

Pipeline, Forecasting & Operational Excellence

- Maintain a healthy, accurate pipeline with strong visibility into stage progression, risks, and next steps.

- Deliver reliable forecasting and contribute to accurate revenue projections for the VP of Sales.

- Ensure high standards of CRM hygiene and leverage sales tools and processes to drive efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications

Requirements

- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding seven-figure+ annual quotas in enterprise technology sales (infrastructure, cloud, AI, colocation, or managed services preferred).

- Demonstrated success sourcing and closing new enterprise logos through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

- Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand, articulate, and sell business models and value propositions in the datacenter, AI infrastructure, and cloud / managed services space.

- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional account team structures (matrix leadership of TAM, SE, Partner, CS, and other resources).

- Exceptional executive presence with the ability to communicate credibly with senior executives as a peer and to orchestrate executive-to-executive engagement between Patmos and customer leadership.

- Experience selling into enterprise accounts with long sales cycles, technical evaluations, and procurement processes.

- Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and organized with strong business acumen and a consultative, value-based selling approach.

- Proficiency with CRM platforms and modern sales methodologies.

What Success Looks Like

You will be a consistent top performer who reliably exceeds quota by winning complex enterprise deals and acquiring high-value new logos. You will be recognized internally as an outstanding leader of the Account Team Unit — someone who effectively orchestrates resources, creates clear strategy, and drives accountability without direct authority.

Externally, customers and partners will view you as a strategic advisor and trusted point of contact who brings Patmos executives into the right conversations at the right time. Your deep understanding of infrastructure and AI technologies, combined with your ability to translate them into business outcomes, will differentiate Patmos in competitive situations and build long-term customer relationships that drive both initial wins and future expansion.

This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role in scaling Patmos Hosting's enterprise business during a period of rapid growth in the AI infrastructure market.
