Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Pay Type: Hourly
Travel Required: Yes – travel between company-owned sites is required
Role Summary
The Infrastructure Engineer – Level 2 is a mid-level engineering role responsible for independently managing daily infrastructure operations, supporting complex issue resolution, and leading execution of site-level projects. This role owns select systems end-to-end and serves as a key escalation point for Technician-level staff.

Infrastructure Ownership & Issue Resolution
Independently own and maintain assigned MEP systems across one or more sites
Lead troubleshooting and resolution for infrastructure alerts, alarms, or performance anomalies
Support root cause analysis and develop solutions for recurring system issues
Project Execution & Vendor Oversight
Coordinate and lead site infrastructure upgrades, retrofits, and install projects
Supervise vendors during work execution and ensure compliance with documentation standards
Review commissioning documentation and contribute to project QA/QC
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain and improve SOPs, inspection protocols, and safety procedures for systems under ownership
Track maintenance and performance data using internal documentation tools
Ensure adherence to SOC 2 controls, safety practices, and regulatory standards
Team Support & Knowledge Sharing
Provide day-to-day support and technical mentorship to Technician staff
Share knowledge and develop informal training for common systems or tasks
Participate in EOP drills and infrastructure reliability initiatives
Required:
4–6 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, critical facilities, or related technical operations
Ability to independently resolve system-level mechanical or electrical issues
Strong organizational skills and ownership mindset
Demonstrated experience working with vendors and coordinating site-level projects
Preferred:
Certification in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems
Familiarity with commissioning, audit documentation, or system lifecycle planning
Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
Must be able to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs
Must be able to work in mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, and elevated/confined spaces
May require crouching, ladder use, and extended walking during shift
