Position Overview
We are a highly regarded boutique family law firm seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our growing practice. This position is ideal for a motivated, skilled family law practitioner who is comfortable managing their own caseload, appearing in court regularly, and delivering excellent legal work with minimal supervision.
The Associate Attorney will handle a wide range of family law matters from inception through resolution, including contested litigation and trial. The firm offers a collaborative environment, high-quality cases, and a defined opportunity for long-term advancement, including partnership consideration.

Handle family law cases from initial consultation through trial or settlement
Draft and review pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, discovery, and settlement agreements
Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis of legal issues
Maintain regular and professional communication with clients
Work collaboratively with firm attorneys and staff while maintaining autonomy over assigned matters
Meet deadlines and uphold the firm's standards for excellence, professionalism, and ethics
Active license to practice law in the State of Florida, in good standing Minimum of 3 to 5 years of dedicated family law experience
Demonstrated trial experience in family law matters
Strong command of Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure and local practices
Excellent legal drafting and legal research skills
Proven ability to manage a full caseload independently, including strategy, client communication, and court appearances
Comfortable appearing in court with minimal supervision
Ability to attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials in Orange County and contiguous counties
Nice to Have
Existing book of business (not required)
Experience with complex financial issues, including equitable distribution, support, and business valuation
Experience handling high-conflict custody and parenting plan disputes
Familiarity with local judges, hearing officers, and opposing counsel in Central Florida
