Job Summary

Are you an entrepreneurial leader passionate about advancing God's Kingdom, building meaningful relationships, and expanding reach through strategic marketing and innovative growth strategies?

The Director of Marketing & Development will lead strategic initiatives to expand the reach of Financial Issues Stewardship Ministries' mission and partnership program, drive revenue growth through partnerships and donor engagement, and build a sustainable marketing plan to reach new audiences with the message of Financial Issues.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will develop and execute strategies that grow active partnerships, increase donor engagement, and strengthen relationships with churches, ministries, media outlets, and Kingdom-minded organizations. You'll oversee a talented team and work closely with on-air talent and executive leadership to ensure more individuals and families are equipped to become faithful stewards through biblical financial education and Biblically Responsible Investing (BRI).

Responsibilities

Partnership Growth & Acquisition

• Develop and execute strategies to grow active FISM partnerships and recurring donor

support

• Oversee and track partnership acquisition funnels and audience nurturing campaigns

• Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and Video Production Manager on growth initiatives

Marketing & Strategic Growth

• Lead marketing initiatives designed to increase audience reach, engagement, and partnership and donor growth

• Identify new markets and effective channels for promoting broadcast and partnerships to qualified leads

• Participate in conferences, industry events, ministry gatherings, and networking opportunities to help grow the ministry

Audience Expansion & Engagement

• Work with leadership and the production team to increase awareness and listener engagement

• In tandem with marketing the partnership, also market the show to drive more people to become aware of the Financial Issues ministry ecosystem.

• Leverage testimonials and impact stories to demonstrate ministry effectiveness

• Encourage grassroots advocacy and create momentum that attracts additional partners and donors

Requirements
  • Demonstrated Christian faith and alignment with FISM's mission and statement of faith
  • Exceptional relationship-building, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience and/or understanding of radio, television, podcasting, and digital media ecosystems
  • Proven success in managing and leading marketing initiatives and acquisition strategies
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, nonprofit leadership, communications, or related field (equivalent professional experience considered)
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit development and/or marketing, business development, ministry leadership, or related field
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strategic thinker with a growth mindset and proven ability to identify and execute opportunities
  • Comfortable with travel as needed (less than 10% of time)
Nice to Have
  • Experience with CRM platforms and pipeline management
  • Experience representing an organization publicly

Beyond base salary, this role offers significant earning potential through a performance-based incentive model tied directly to measurable growth in partnerships and donor acquisition.
