The Secondary School Teacher is a full-time position with responsibilities for teaching. The ideal candidate will bring a history of collaborative, self-directed work as well as experience teaching in a classical Christian school.

The ideal candidate deeply understands and appreciates the benefits of a classical Christian education, particularly one taught through a Biblical worldview.

Veritas Academy seeks teachers who demonstrate strong spiritual leadership, professionalism, and a commitment to academic excellence within a Christian educational environment. Teachers are expected to model Christian character through their conduct, actively integrate biblical principles into classroom instruction, and participate enthusiastically in school activities and assemblies. Responsibilities include maintaining an organized and engaging classroom, preparing and presenting lessons aligned with the Veritas Academy Grammar Curriculum Guide, and fostering student learning through diverse instructional methods and effective classroom management. Teachers should encourage self-discipline, utilize creative teaching strategies, and assess student progress through multiple evaluation techniques. Regular communication with parents, timely lesson planning, and collaboration with school leadership are essential expectations. Professionalism in speech, punctuality, dress, and attitude is required at all times.

• Teaching experience in a classical Christian school desirable.

• Bachelor's degree required
